Ontario’s Employer Job Offer category under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) offers a pathway for foreign workers and international graduates with a full-time job offer in Ontario to apply for Canadian permanent residence. Job Offer Requirements
- Must be full-time and permanent (30+ hours/week).
- Must be located primarily in Ontario.
- Must meet wage thresholds:
- Median wage for Foreign Worker & In-Demand Skills streams
- Low wage threshold for International Student stream
- Median wage for Foreign Worker & In-Demand Skills streams
- Equity in the business must not exceed 10% for applicant/family.
Applicant Requirements
Foreign Worker Stream
- Two years of work experience in the same occupation (last 5 years) or required licence for regulated professions.
- Must intend to live in Ontario.
- Legal or maintained status in Canada.
International Student Stream
- Completed a Canadian post-secondary credential within last 2 years.
- More than half of studies in Canada.
- Must intend to live in Ontario.
In-Demand Skills Stream
- Minimum 9 months of Ontario work experience in the same occupation (last 3 years).
- CLB 4+ in English or French.
- Canadian high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must intend to live in Ontario.
Employer Requirements
- Business operating for 3+ years with Ontario premises.
- Compliant with labour laws.
- Minimum revenue: $1M/year in GTA, $500K outside GTA.
- Minimum employees: 5 full-time Canadians/PR inside GTA, 3 outside GTA.
- Submission of completed Employer Form; may require proof of domestic recruitment.
